Who are the National Federation of Fish Friers? (NFFF)

Operating since 1913, the National Federation of Fish Friers are an independent association that works with the fish and chip shop sector. They are the only association in this market and have 1,500 UK fish and chip shops as members and represent the interests of all 10,500 UK chip shops.

The association has a range of “Associate Members” like WestWon. These companies offer a range of services like leasing and asset finance, insurance, fish and chip shop equipment, signage, and most importantly, supplier of fish and chips to the trade. These Associate members are allowed to use the association logo on their websites and promotional material.

Other benefits

The National Federation of Fish Friers website does not mention this, but we feel a key benefit is the plaque you can put up in your fish and chip shop saying you are a member. It tells a story, firstly you have been authorised by them. Secondly, you take your business seriously and want to be part of the wider fish and chip shop community.

Why did WestWon, the company behind Fish Fryers Finance become a member?

Leasing and finance into the fish and chip shop market is a niche business for us. We like the sector, you can see that by the guides we have been writing and the lease deals we are doing. Joining the NFFF shows the wider community we are serious about working with their members and suppliers of fish and chip shop equipment.
